Historical Note
Manchester, Hartford County, Town established in May 1823, Parent Town: East Hartford
The Manchester Probate District was constituted June 22, 1850, from the Hartford Probate District. On January 5, 2011 the Manchester Probate District merged with the Andover Probate District to create the Greater Manchester Probate District which serves the municipalities of Andover, Bolton, Columbia, and Manchester.

The record books in accession 2013-016 were transferred to the Connecticut State Library on October 11, 2012.
