Purchased by the Connecticut State Library on September 25, 1936, from Judge George V. Smith, Tolland, Connecticut, through Mr. Harold S. Burt, Examiner of Public Records. Judge Smith was acting as agent for the owner, Mrs. Keith N. Burgess, West Hartford, Connecticut, who had inherited the manuscript from the estate of Edward Fuller, of Tolland, Connecticut.
