Includes 24 volumes of genealogical notes, plus index. Volumes 1-3, 5 and a part of 6, were compiled by Sheldon Brainerd Thorpe, of North Haven, Conn. Nearly all of the other volumes are the work of Frank G. Bassett, of Seymour, Conn.

Biographical Note

Sheldon B.Thorpe and Frank G. Bassett were both historians of the Bassett Family Association of America. Mr. Bassett, at various times, also held the offices of scribe, treasurer, and secretary of that Association.
